This is my 3rd visit of advocacy and assisting these blind and visually impaired friends of the Pune blind school for girls. I have been interacting with all age groups. This time I was interacting with girls aged 18 years and above. These girls belong to the training centre of the school. The training centre basically trains girls who are 18 years and above with various vocational activities that can help them in the future by using the skills to earn them income. This time I visited them they were fully immersed in making articles for Diwali which are going to be a part of an exhibition held in school. Apart from Diwali articles they do a lot of weaving , knitting , stitching on sewing machines. They also train in using computers and xerox machines.
